Dear Jim, Mimi, Harold,
Just a note to let you know how pleased I was with the service I received after my 20 year old water heater sprung a leak last week. I was preparing to go away on a trip that had been planned for a year when I noticed water coming from the bottom of my hot water heater. I called in the middle of the night and spoke to a live person, not an answering machine. Even at the late hour I called, I was given the option to have a plumber come out immediately. An immediate call was not necessary and Mimi called me shortly after 7:30 AM and, much to my surprise, scheduled a hot water heater replacement for that afternoon. Harold called and offered me the option to upgrade my heater, said that he would be there 2 hours earlier than scheduled, and, then, even better, showed up 15 minutes earlier than anticipated. Harold answered my questions and completed the replacement efficiently and professionally. Mimi and Harold's quick response to my hot water he ater crisis allowed me to take my trip as planned.
I am grateful for the service I have received not only from Mimi and Harold on this occasion but from all of Jim's technicians who have worked on my home.

On 10/16/06 I called in the a.m. with a water heater problem and to my surprise was squeezed into a service appointment that a.m. The service man, H.P. called with questions prior to coming for the sake of having an efficient call. He was very helpful in offering advice and options concerning repair or replacement. It was decided that replacement was the sensible choice and he came back that afternoon and worked here until after 6: o'clock. My husband and I were very impressed with his knowledge, professionalism, cleanliness, and determination that we would be up and running without rescheduling.
I also very much appreciated the opportunity to sign up for the inspection program. Thank you for the quality and efficiency of your service. You have done an excellent job in your training and choice of employees.

Last week I was looking for a plumber and saw your ad in the Merchandiser magazine. It truly seemed too good to be true, but I gave you a call any way.
One of your plumbers came out and did a wonderful job. He arrived early, was very professional, made some recommendations, finished his job and was done quickly.
And then today, I received your thank you note and lottery card. I am now the proud winner of $1.00.
What a wonderful experience with all your staff - from the telephone to the actual work done. As promised, you were there on time, clean and neat, with a fair price.
What the world could use is more companies like you. Those who claim "service, service, service" could learn a lot from you and your company. I'm so thankful that I have you as a resource not only for myself, but to spread the word to others.

On April 4th, H.P. from your company came out to my residence to look at my leaky hot water heater. The 23 year old heater had to be replaced. H.P was at my house for the entire day. I was EXTREMELY impressed with H.P.'s professionalism, work ethic & honesty. The following day, Jim, from your company, came out to move a duct. Again, another top notch person. On April 5th, I had to travel out of town & H.P. called my father to inform him of the status of the new hot water heater. I understand this was H.P.'s day off but he took the time to meet with my father to show him the new heater.
I unfortunately don't know alot about household appliances, etc. Your two employees were so kind & knowledgeable & took the time to explain everything to me. They went above & beyond. Because of them, I will always call Jim's Inc when I have a problem.
I just returned back in town last night, otherwise I would have sent this message earlier. Thank you & please pass my gratitude on to H.P. & Jim.

I just wanted to give you some feedback on the work that your plumber, HP, completed in replumbing my house.
Needless to say, we expected the job to be a very traumatic operation from start to finish. The job was anything but. HP completed the task in the time promised, which was 3 days. His work was meticulous, neat and efficient. He was everything one would hope a plumber would be during such an upheaval.
I fully intend to use HP as my primary plumber with your firm and will reocmmend your firm and HP in particular to my neighbors. I expect that many of them will be replumbing their houses in the not too distant future.

Hi Mimi,
First of all I would like to compliment you on your professionalism and pleasant phone voice. I am a first time customer, referred to you by another customer.
I had many questions when I first called and was a little frantic because it was a problem where I could not use my washer.
You did not have an appointment that day, but gave me next day & exact time, no window, I liked that.
However, later that day I got a call back from you that there was a cancellation & they could be at my house w/in a half hour. I was delighted. The man was prompt, courteous and put his little booties on when he came in.
… I cannot say enough good things about this gentleman, he stayed until the night, found a major problem leftover by the prior homeowner from over 11 years ago that caused a slow drain problem in the sink…He wrote up the estimate in advance and started working.
He found the BIG mistake the prior owner made when they self fixed a leak, he replaced everything and replaced things connected w/the sink. He did not complain about how long he was there or act upset, he was a very nice man.
I never thought I would say I was happy to have him in my home, because I hate to have any plumbing problems.
When we have another problem (hopefully not soon-sorry ;) we want H.P. to come back, he was the best and so knowledgeable and patient with all my dumb questions.

My wife and I want to write a note of commendation concerning your company. We had called for someone to come and find the cause of an electrical problem where we lost electricity on one side of our home. I found your ad in the Shepherds Yellow Pages after I had already called three other electrical companies who could not schedule an appointment until later in the week. I called Jim's number and was glad to be greeted with a friendly voice and an offer for someone to come out the next morning. Guy called us from Damascus to tell us he would be here by 9:30 AM and he arrived at exactly that time. We immediately knew he was the right man for the job as he listened to the problem, looked at the situation and had it solved within five minutes. It was a pleasure to have him in our home and especially his offer t o have us call at anytime we have a problem. Since we are in our 80s it is a comfort to know that there are folks like him who can make one feel secure. He patiently answered all of our questions and made us feel relieved that there was no major problem. Thank you for having such a person as part of your company. He also had good things to say about the company.

daughter in Kensington about ten days ago, I had the pleasure of meeting your
technician Harold. Harold was doing the yearly inspection at her house. What a
thoughtful and pleasant employee! He felt he was running a little late so he
called her house. Before he started the inspection, he put on those "booties."
He explained everything he was checking. He was just a very nice gentleman.
If all your employees are as personable as Harold, you are fortunate.

Thank you for living up to the claims in your advertisement. I called your office today to repair a leak under my kitchen sink. From the very beginning, the woman who answered the phone was kind and courteous and managed a charming sense of humor while addressing the problem efficiently.
Your repairman, Roy, made a great first impression when he slipped on some disposable "booties" over his shoes as he entered our home. That would get a five star rating from Martha Stewart! It also told me that yours was truly a family business who thinks of the housewife and appreciates the efforts of her chores. Only your wife could have thought of such a holistic approach. Roy was professional and direct in his approach to the repair. When a quixotic problem appeared, he used scientific methodolgy.
I have had to use quite a few repair companies during my 60+ years of running a household. Your company is on the top of my list for its excellence. Thank you for keeping good old-fashioned quality service in your company.

I wanted to
write to thank you for your excellent service. I particularly appreciate that
you provide an appointment and actually stick to it! This is certainly easier
than waiting for cable to arrive between 8 and 4 and then have them not show
and generally not even call to let the customer know. Also, your serviceman was
honest and upfront in telling me that my system was quite aged and that this
repair may last or could break down tomorrow--you can never tell with a system
this age. That allowed me to make a more informed decision on how I wanted to
proceed.
Were I not happy I certainly would have let you know, so I thought it only fair to thank you and tell you to use me as a reference should you need one.

I paid
my water bill today: $54.26. Last year my average water bill was $179.60.
The Difference is because on of your guys (Steve) came out here and found the reason. My humidifier had gone bad and was leaking water continually.

Late on Saturday, a holiday
weekend, we called with a stopped up sink that had backed up flooding the
basement. You responded quickly, arrived shortly after that. We had to leave to
keep a previous engagement. Upon our return we found the work done and the work
area and the basement clean. We offer the firm and it's team of people our
